Blue diamond – rating
The Blue Diamond Pan is a 9.5 inch wide, non-stick and scratch resistant coated pan with a diamond hardened ceramic exterior. Advertisements claim that the Blue Diamond Pan is 5 times stronger, 10 times longer lasting and 4 times faster to give off heat than the average pan. Not only can it be baked in a frying pan, but it can also be placed in the oven or on the grill and safely heated to 850 degrees.
Many of these non-stick products are impressive at first, but may deteriorate with future use. In addition, there are exaggerated advertising events, which I found difficult to reconstruct successfully. In my own experience I have discovered that applying a non-stick coating on these new pans helps to make them last longer, but most people treat them like a normal frying pan and then find that the non-stick surface breaks down quickly. Some maintenance instructions for the Blue Diamond Pan can be found in the FAQ section of the product website. They recommend never smoking or burning the pot (always use it on low or medium heat), use a minimum of butter or cream, avoid sprays and extra olive oil, and wash your hands with soapy water and a soft sponge (although the pot is supposed to be dishwasher safe).
As you can see in the video below, I bought two of these jars and used one of them according to the advertising demonstrations and the other more precisely according to the instructions given. I have noticed that the non-stick coating is fairly easy to clean, regardless of the amount of scratches or treatments. As for sticking food without oil, this seems to vary depending on the object in the frying pan. For example, the egg will always stick a little, but the frying pan will always be easy to clean. Processed cheese was no problem, any more than shrimp or chicken breasts. Surprisingly, the use of sandpaper caused virtually no scratches on the surface of the pot, although the use of a tap (as shown in the advertisement) seems to have caused most damage. A hammer blow to the bottom of the pot caused a clear dent.
Despite the mixed results when following the instructions (low or medium heat, hand washing, use of non-abrasive agents), the Blue Diamond Pan delivered impressive results. Nothing got stuck, and he cleaned up pretty easily. My only real complaint about the Blue Diamond Pan, apart from the measurements, was that the pen tended to be pretty hot.
In fact, if you ignore the commercials and follow the instructions, I think you can really see that this is one of the best non-stick jars among the new As Seen on TV offers.
If you’re just looking for a solid non-stick frying pan with a star rating, then look forward to this distortion and scratch resistant frying pan with 12 T-profiles, which currently has an impressive 4.6 star rating from over 1,500 reviews.
